Ever Been to Muncie, Indiana? I Have.A
town made famous by David Letterman and those darned Ball St.
Cardinals, Muncie is your typical town of poverty and terrible
dental hygiene. On my trip I spent my time in
the most luxurious hotel Muncie has to offer... the Holiday Inn
Express.
Only
the finest accommodations for me. The room was about the size of a
master bathroom and had a glorious view of the highway which has
tons of trucks going down it at 3am for your listening pleasure.
If you thought the room was nice, you haven't seen
anything yet. The cuisine... only the best that East Central Indiana
has to offer. Do you like dog shit? I hope so... you'd be better off
collection some of that for your after work dinner.
Speaking of after work, how about some of the great night life of
Muncie. You could go bowling at the local alley... or perhaps you
enjoy bowling? Then there's bowling for the children, followed by a
few frames of bowling to wind down after all that excitement.
Like modern commodities? Forget it.
The best part about Muncie, Indiana is the roads leaving the
city. The rural country highway leading to the interstate is long
and flat, perfect for passing as many people as possible to maximize
your speed leaving the city limits. The
interstate speed limit throughout Indiana is 70, which happens to be
a perfect speed to see this sign at:
I've never been so happy
seeing boring old Ohio. |
